Our Team

Mbao Ngula

Mbao is passionate about the role of social enterprise has in improving livelihoods and protecting and preserving local bio-diversity systems. Her goal is to work with local
communities to identify and make effective use of available local resources to improve quality of life.
She works to create truly indigenous organizations capable of addressing developmental challenges in the context in which they exist at the local level.
A noted speaker and educationist, Mbao is an American Express Leadership Academy
alumna, a TED innovative educator, National Geographic Certified educator, as well as
Common Purpose alumna.

Rolf Shenton
Rolf Shenton is a Zambian-born agriculturalist and conservationist known for his work in regenerative farming and community-based resource management. He is the founder of the Grassroots Trust, a non-profit organization focused on helping communities in Zambia build sustainable futures through practices like holistic management, low-input agriculture, and wildlife conservation.
Where We Work
We work in rural communities in Zambia. This is work centered in Kataba in Western Zambia. An area located some 60 km South of the provincial capital of Mongu.
